# Foldies marketing asset credits

## Current collection previews

`collection/` contains real browser-scene crops for Record Player, Trick Wallet,
Pop-up Book and Pocket Laptop, prepared October 4, 2026. The source screenshots
come from the repository's browser validation run. Only framing, proportional
size and WebP encoding changed; device and toy artwork retain the original
rendered pixels. `collection/capture-manifest.json` records source/output hashes,
crop rectangles and the reproduction command. These are browser simulations,
not photographs or physical-device captures. The model and artwork notices below
also apply. The downloadable featured-render kit is a separate, labeled selection
of Chops, Pocket Press and Toaster assets.

Prepared 23 September 2026. Images show the playable **web simulation**, not photographs or physical-device captures.

## Foldies

The Chops, Pocket Press and Toaster screen artwork is drawn from the project's editable toy renderers. The Foldies wordmark, folded-panel icon, campaign layouts and copy were authored for this project. The social templates use locally available Arial Black / Arial / Helvetica; no font binaries are distributed.

## Device imagery

Transparent device renders were captured from the local web demo with `web/scripts/capture-marketing.mjs`. `capture-manifest.json` records poses, dimensions and provenance.

- Device: Apple iPhone Duo Star White USDZ, used by the supplied [chuspeeism/iphone-duo reference](https://github.com/chuspeeism/iphone-duo), commit `2662ebbeb6aa844cd4f6888f7d6f8958662249fd`.
- The device model and extracted textures belong to Apple and/or their respective rights holders. They are separate from the MIT-licensed reference code. These renders do not grant additional rights to that artwork.
- Reference rendering/fold code and Three.js are MIT licensed. Relevant notices are included in the downloadable kit and the demo's `duo-reference` directory.
- [Reference third-party notices](https://github.com/chuspeeism/iphone-duo/blob/2662ebbeb6aa844cd4f6888f7d6f8958662249fd/THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md).

Foldies is an independent project, not an Apple-endorsed product. iPhone and Apple are trademarks of Apple Inc. Foldies is available on the App Store.

## Editing and sharing

The October 2026 play guides add two actual Pocket Press front-view captures (Squishy and Bubble wrap) in `guides/`. `web/scripts/capture-play-guides.mjs` reproduces them, and `guides/capture-manifest.json` records their source, dimensions and state. Only framing and background are adjusted; toy artwork and behavior come from the browser renderer. The same device-model notices above apply.

Keep the **Browser simulation** label with campaign images. The kit's HTML/CSS layouts are editable. Use the PNGs for sharing and the WebP renders for web pages. Keep render proportions with `object-fit: contain`; the outer cover image is `chops-cover`, while `chops-folded` shows a partly folded inner display.

The public website is https://foldies.shesek.co/. The included copy links to the browser demos and https://apps.apple.com/app/id6824898594.

## Cinematic trailer

`foldies-cinematic-trailer.mp4` is the 30-second Foldies cinematic film, with original Foldies music. `cinematic-trailer-poster.jpg` is its poster. The phone shown is a 3D illustration, not a real device. This film is a concept demonstration of how the app works; the device-model notices above apply. Keep that context alongside shared footage.

## App Store badge

`download-on-the-app-store.svg` is Apple’s unmodified official black English badge, downloaded October 20, 2026 from https://developer.apple.com/assets/elements/badges/download-on-the-app-store.svg. Apple’s badge artwork is separate from the project’s original graphics and is used according to https://developer.apple.com/app-store/marketing/guidelines/.
