1. Playing in the app
Shesek makes Foldies. We do not operate an app backend, collect a play history, or send toy interactions, motion readings or typed notes to our servers. Foldies does not include advertising or analytics SDKs.
Touch, tilt and supported device-hinge input are processed on your device to animate the toys. Toy state and settings are held locally while you play. Pocket Laptop’s typed note is temporary play content, not a saved document or a message sent to us.
The app stores a small local record of first use, qualifying play visits, active play time and previous rating-prompt attempts in iOS preferences. This only helps choose an appropriate time to ask for an App Store rating. It is not transmitted to Shesek, and Apple does not tell the app whether you submitted a rating.
2. App Store and purchases
In versions with no in-app purchases, all included toys, snacks and materials are available without a separate unlock. These versions do not query in-app products, purchase entitlements or transaction history to grant access to the collection.
If a version offers an optional one-time collection purchase, Apple handles the payment through the App Store. Foldies uses Apple’s StoreKit services to check the product, verify purchase status and transactions on your device, unlock eligible content and restore eligible purchases. We do not operate a purchase-validation server or upload these records to a Foldies backend.
Apple also handles App Store downloads and any payment for the app itself. Your payment card details are not provided to Foldies. Apple may provide developers with App Store sales and reporting information. Apple also controls App Store ratings and any diagnostics you choose to share through Apple’s settings. These Apple services follow Apple’s privacy policy.
3. Optional music and audio files
Record Player can play its included music without library access. If you choose a song from your Apple Music library, iOS asks for permission. The selected song and its title are used for playback on your device. Foldies does not upload your library or song selection to Shesek. Apple’s music services may use the network and your Apple account according to your settings and subscription.
If you choose an audio file through the Files picker, Foldies reads that selected file and creates a temporary local copy for playback. It does not browse or upload your other files. Your chosen file provider may download a cloud file to your device. Foldies removes its temporary copy when the record is unloaded; iOS also manages temporary storage. Your original file is not changed.
You can use the included record instead, choose another record, or revoke music-library permission in iOS Settings.
4. Links you choose to share
A playable Foldies link can include your chosen toy scene, note and sender name. These are encoded in the link’s fragment—the part after the #—and read by the recipient’s browser. Foldies does not store the dedication in a server database, and the fragment is not included in the ordinary request for the web page.
The content in a shared link is not encrypted by Foldies. Anyone who has the full link can read its content and forward it. The messaging app, clipboard, browser history, synced browser data or another service you use to share or save the link may retain it under that service’s policies. Avoid putting sensitive information in a dedication.
There is no central copy for us to delete and no way for us to revoke a link. You can delete your own copies and ask recipients to do the same. Opening a link also involves the website delivery described below.
5. Visiting this website
This website uses hosting and content-delivery services, including Amazon Web Services (AWS). To deliver a page, those services receive ordinary connection information such as your IP address, requested address, request time and browser information. Hosting providers may process or retain operational and security logs under their service policies. We use these services to deliver and protect the website.
We use Google Analytics on public marketing pages and browser demos to measure page visits and clicks on our App Store links. Before you choose, and if you reject optional cookies, Google receives limited cookieless measurements without reading or writing analytics cookies. These requests include ordinary connection, browser and device information, such as your IP address and screen resolution, which Google processes to produce website reports. We do not enable advertising personalization or Google signals. This website analytics is separate from the iPhone app, which has no analytics SDK.
We send predefined public page addresses and titles, and an event when an App Store link is clicked. We exclude query strings, URL fragments and referrers, and do not send shared notes, sender names, typed toy content or form contents. Analytics does not run on shared-card, nomination, privacy or support pages. Browser toy interactions run locally.
Choosing Accept analytics cookies allows Google to use analytics cookies to distinguish visits in this browser. Choosing Reject optional cookies keeps analytics cookies off; limited cookieless measurements continue. Your choice and this site's analytics cookies last up to 180 days. You can change your choice using Cookie settings below. Withdrawing cookie permission removes this site's analytics cookies and returns to cookieless measurement; it does not remove information already included in Google's reports. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. External links, your browser and other services you choose to open have their own privacy practices.
6. Contacting Shesek
If you email shesekcompany@gmail.com, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your question, investigate the issue and follow up. Our email provider processes that correspondence to deliver and store it.
Please send only what is needed. Do not send passwords, payment card details, private audio files or a sensitive dedication. We retain support correspondence while needed to handle the request and necessary follow-up, and may retain records where required by law. You can ask us to delete your correspondence using the same address.
7. Your choices and deletion
- Local app data: deleting Foldies removes its local app data from that device. Offloading an app may preserve its data. Device backups are managed by your Apple settings.
- App Store records: deleting the app does not delete Apple’s download or payment records. Manage payment-history and refund questions through Apple. If your version offers in-app purchases, its purchase screen lets you restore eligible purchases. Versions with the collection included do not require a purchase or restore step.
- Music: permission is optional and can be changed in iOS Settings. Your original audio files stay in the location you selected.
- Shared links: control what you include and who receives the full link. Copies held by other people or services are outside our control.
- Website analytics: use Cookie settings below to accept or reject optional analytics cookies. Limited cookieless measurements continue on measured pages when cookies are rejected. Clearing this site's browser storage also removes your saved choice.
- Privacy requests: contact shesekcompany@gmail.com to ask about information you have sent us, or to request access, correction or deletion. We will address requests and any applicable limits under the law that applies to you.
Foldies does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
