A LITTLE HELP FROM SHESEK

Let’s get back to play.

Something not quite right? Find a quick answer below, or send us a note about Foldies.

Say hello.

Email Shesek for app support, accessibility feedback or a privacy question. Include your device model, iOS version, Foldies version and what happened. A short set of steps or a screenshot can help us understand the issue.

Playing and controls

How do I choose a toy or change its controls?

Open the toy menu at the top of the app to switch toys. Open the current toy’s controls to see its available input, sound and play options. All seven toys, every Chops snack and all four Pocket Press materials are included.

My phone does not fold. Can I still play?

Foldies supports regular iPhones with touch and tilt controls. Choose Touch to move the toy directly, or Tilt where available. On a supported folding device, hinge input lets opening and closing the device animate the toy.

Tilt feels off, or a toy stops responding.

Hold the phone comfortably, open the toy’s controls and choose Recenter tilt where available. You can also switch to Touch. If the problem continues, close and reopen the toy, then contact us with the toy name, your device model and the steps that trigger the issue.

Can I request an accessibility improvement?

Yes. Email us with the toy, control or screen involved and what would make it easier to use. If helpful, tell us which accessibility settings you use. You do not need to share any medical information.

The included collection

Are all toys included, and is there a subscription?

The first release includes all seven toys, every Chops snack and all four Pocket Press materials. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions or ads. You can switch toys and use all their play options without a separate unlock.

Do I need to restore anything after reinstalling?

No. The collection is included with the app, so there is no in-app purchase to restore. Reinstall Foldies from the App Store to play again. Local settings and toy-session content may reset when the app is deleted.

Can I play without an internet connection?

The included toys and original Record Player tune work offline. Opening shared cards needs a browser and internet connection. Music from your library or a cloud file provider may also need a connection.

Where can I ask about an App Store charge?

Apple handles any payment for the app download and any refund request. Visit Apple’s Report a Problem page to check your options. Foldies has no in-app purchases in this release. Do not send us payment card details or your Apple password.

Music and sound

I cannot hear the toy or Record Player.

Check the toy’s sound control, your device volume and the selected audio output. In Record Player, open the lid and check that playback is not paused. If headphones or another audio output disconnect, you may need to choose your record again.

Do I need to allow access to my music library?

No. Record Player includes Little Orbit, an original miniature waltz. Library permission is requested only when you choose music from your Apple Music library. You can change that permission in iOS Settings or use the included record instead.

Why will my selected song or audio file not play?

Library availability depends on the selected track, your Apple account, subscription and connection. A file stored with a cloud provider may need to download first. Try another recording or Play Little Orbit. Imported files are used for temporary local playback, so you may need to select them again after leaving the toy.

Shared links and privacy

A shared surprise will not open.

Ask the sender to copy the entire link again, including the part after the #. A shortened or incomplete link can lose the scene or dedication. The recipient needs a browser and an internet connection to load the page, but does not need the Foldies app.

Can I delete or make a shared link private?

A dedication is stored inside the link itself. Anyone with the complete link can read or forward it. Foldies cannot revoke the link or erase someone else’s copy. Delete your own copies and ask recipients to do the same. Keep sensitive information out of shared notes.

Where can I ask about my information?

Read our privacy policy for local app data, Apple services, optional music, website delivery and support emails. You can send a privacy request to shesekcompany@gmail.com.
